Women Light the World is a nonprofit that empowers women as leaders for energy justice and climate resilience. We train local women as Solar Mamas—grassroots solar engineers bringing clean energy to off-grid villages. Our mission blends climate action, women’s leadership, and community transformation—one light, one village, one future at a time. Himalayan Footprints is a transformational journey through Nepal’s remote mountains and timeless culture. Proceeds directly support the solar electrification of 153 off-grid households in Nepal.
